Design Process
Group Identity Apparel offers a comprehensive design service that covers every stage of the process from initial concept to final fulfillment. Here’s a breakdown of the phases:
01
Design
-
Kick-Off Meeting: We start with a Design Kick-Off meeting to understand the client's branding and design needs, including the product's end use, garment environment, and any specialty trims or prints.
-
Brand Exploration: We delve into the client's branding story and their vision for the future.
-
Design Presentation: At the Design Approval Meeting, we present a mood board, print suggestions, color palette, initial sketches, and fabric options, and finalize the time and action calendar.
-
Pre-Production: We then provide the client with detailed, final sketches, suggested fabrics, and trims.
02
Development
-
Product Development: We handle fabric sourcing, color and print approvals, trim development, tech-pack creation, interior labeling, branded details, and shipping preparation.
-
Sample Fitting: Internal fittings of samples are conducted by GIA, with samples sent to the client for approval. If desired, we can include a round of fit samples for client review before proceeding to production.
03
Manufacturing
-
Order Placement: We place orders with the factory and oversee the production process.
-
Sample Approval: Pre-Production (PP) samples are fitted and specifications on Top of Production (TOP) samples are approved before shipping.
-
Shipping: We track shipments from the factory to the client.
